Basketball Rules
The rules and regulation of Basketball can be easy to follow and
sometimes when you’re frustrated, hard to follow. You have fouls
and lots of other rules that you have to follow. A foul is
unfair act that is a player does that is called by a referee.
One kind of foul is called a technical. It caused when a coach
or player shows bad sportsmanship like arguing with an other
player on the other team or a referee. This is a more serious
kind of foul. A personal foul is using illegal personal contact
with an opponent. Also, a flagrant foul. It is considered the
most serious foul in Basketball. It is when you use illegal
contact with a player and can inflict pain on an other.
There is a shot clock too. It
indicates that you have to shoot within a curtain amount of
time. In the NBA you have to shoot within 24 seconds. Also in
the NBA, each quarter of play is 12 minutes. At halftime the
players go back to the locker rooms and talk about the first
half and things they need to work on. It usually lasts 20
minutes. If a team goes into overtime, which is extra time of
play when the teams are tied at the end of the regulation time.
It lasts for 5 minutes.

is 28 by 15 meters or about 92 feet by 49 feet.
